At WeCozyStore, we are committed to your satisfaction and comply fully with the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights.
1. Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act
As a South African consumer, you are entitled to the following rights:
- Right to Fair Value, Good Quality & Safety: All products sold must be of good quality, free from defects, and safe for use.
- Right to Return Defective Goods: You may return defective or unsafe goods within 6 months of purchase for a full refund, replacement, or repair — at your discretion.
- Right to Cancel Direct Marketing Purchases: If you purchased as a result of direct marketing, you have the right to cancel within 5 business days (the "cooling-off period") and receive a full refund.
2. Standard Returns (Change of Mind)
We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- Unused and in its original condition
- In its original packaging with all tags and accessories
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Please note: Change-of-mind returns may be subject to a return shipping fee.
3. Defective or Damaged Products
In accordance with Section 56 of the CPA, if your product is defective, unsafe, or not fit for purpose within 6 months of delivery, you are entitled to:
- A full refund, or
- A replacement of the same product, or
- A repair of the defective product
The choice is yours. We will cover all return shipping costs for defective items.
4. How to Initiate a Return

- We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or replacement within 5–7 business days.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the funds.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless defective:
- Opened personal care or hygiene products (for health and safety reasons)
- Items marked as final sale or non-returnable at the time of purchase
