Delivery & Shipping Policy

At WeCozyStore, we strive to deliver your orders safely and on time. This policy outlines our shipping practices and complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act).

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been placed, and a shipping notification with tracking details once dispatched.

2. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to all major cities and towns across South Africa, including but not limited to:

  • Johannesburg & Gauteng
  • Cape Town & Western Cape
  • Durban & KwaZulu-Natal
  • Pretoria
  • Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) & Eastern Cape
  • Bloemfontein & Free State
  • And all other provinces

Delivery to remote or rural areas may take longer and could incur additional charges. We will notify you if this applies to your order.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

  • Major cities (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria): 5-7 business days
  • Other towns and suburbs: 5–7 business days
  • Remote or rural areas: 7–10 business days

Please note these are estimates and not guarantees. Delays may occur due to courier issues, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order size. We offer:

  • Free standard shipping on orders over a specified threshold (displayed at checkout)
  • Standard shipping fee for orders below the free shipping threshold

All shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase, in accordance with the ECT Act.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your delivery through our courier partner's website. If you have not received tracking information within 3 business days of placing your order, please contact us.

6. Failed or Missed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (e.g., no one available to receive the parcel), the courier will leave a notification and attempt redelivery or hold the parcel at a collection point. WeCozyStore is not liable for delays caused by incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate at checkout.

7. Lost or Damaged Parcels

In the unlikely event that your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. In accordance with the CPA, we will investigate and offer a suitable resolution, which may include a replacement or refund.

8. Your Rights Under the CPA

As a South African consumer, you have the right to:

  • Receive goods within the agreed or reasonable timeframe
  • Be informed of any delays that may affect your delivery
  • Cancel an order if delivery is unreasonably delayed, and receive a full refund
